Even though everyone knows Christmas falls on the same year, I mean come on a year is 365 days it’s not hard. I believe that it feels like Christmas comes earlier every year even though it does not.

As we get older Christmas is no different to any other day. As a child Christmas is about getting new toys or the latest game, so children are literally counting down the days until Christmas. Generally when we are excited about something it feels like time goes on forever. But when your are older we do not realise how close Christmas is getting because we have more important things to be worrying about than something that is a whole year away. So while being side tracked the months just fly by and by the time you realise its near Christmas, so you have to run around like a headless chicken picking up last minute presents for family or friends.

Christmas is over as quick as it comes around, its 3 months of preparing for one day that ends in a heartbeat. I think as much as your parent like Christmas they rather it not burn a hole in your pocket. My grandma always says “gone are the day you can buy a child some sweets for a Christmas present”. Nowadays its all about the latest gadget or games console so it burns an even bigger hole in that pocket that children belive is never ending this mean parent have to save for twice as long.

So in my opinion Christmas does “come earlier every year” even though it doesn’t.
